BigSky, Mobius, TimeLine - preset librarian

We’ve made some updates to our open source Preset Librarian. The latest version adds support for BigSky Reverberator, allowing you to organize and back up any or all of your presets (when connected to a Mac or PC with a MIDI to USB converter). We’ve also added support for Mac OS X.9 Mavericks, as well as a couple other cool features.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Added support for BigSky
  • Now supports Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks
  • Includes a firmware update feature that can check for and program firmware updates
  • Shift-Click a preset in the Work List to transfer it to the device’s “edit buffer”
  • Control-Click a preset in the Work List to switch the device preset

Supported Platforms:

Mac OS X – 10.7.x, 10.8.x, 10.9.x

  1. Joris says:

Hey Strymon, In what format are the presets saved? And could you maybe post or send a preset file?

I’d like to see what we can do in terms of PC-editing. If the format is open/accessible like XML or something, we can even work with web-app technology, allowing easy porting to mobile devices.

  2. Dale says:

Just wondering if “drag and drop” will ever be supported as a way of arranging presets in the Librarian. The “swap / replace” feature makes things a bit difficult at times.

  3. Hugo says:

@Dale – At the moment, drag and drop is not supported, but I will forward your feedback to our engineers for their consideration. Thanks!

I just want mine to work properly live without losing my settings..
