  1. I have used the Lexicon Prime Time M93 and PCM42 delays for years. These are my favorite echo/delay devices. I also have the Korg SDD-3000, another fantastic echo/dealy unit.

The Strymon El Capistan is as good if not better than these two.

It’s totally different of course in that it’s a tape echo sound but it goes beyond what any tape echo will do and what they sound like. It has a really amazing stereo 3D image to it that is increidlble in the studio for mixing vocal and guitar tracks.

It’s a pedal but it has the quality of the very best studio processors that I am used to using from Lexcion.

Thanks for making such a great echo device!

I wish your reverb pedal sounded as good as my Lexicon PCM92.

  2. The El Capistan dTape Echo pedal will go nicely with my Brigadier and OB1 pedals! Hope to win. I’m a great promoter of Strymon here in Canada! Would love to show off that one too.

  3. Just got turned on to you guys by Jimi Hazel (24-7 Spyz). He says he loves his delay!

I thought I knew about it all. Can’t wait to either win the contest (!) or check the pedals out at a local LA dealer. Thanks!

  4. Thanks to spotting the Strymon El Capistan on http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/ I fell in love and gotted me one! 🙂 I was going to enter the contest out of shear greed but, I won’t! 😉

Thanks for making an awesome tape delay emulator pedal! Now it just needs to be turned into a couple different modular synth formats!!! heh

  5. I thought I was sold on the Roland Space Echo pedal, but this one looks like it blows it out of the water. Winning this pedal would make a great birthday present…for me!
