CONTEST RULES AND TERMS ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, from any country, except where prohibited by law. Contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States. This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of these official contest rules.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Steps to enter the contest:
Entrant must mail in a hand-drawn picture of a Strymon pedal and mail it to Strymon headquarters addressed to “ATTN Analog” at 2488 Townsgate Rd, STE A, Westlake Village, CA 91361. The entry must also contain their name and an active email address so that they can be contacted in case the entrant ends up winning a prize. The quality of the image is unimportant as winners will be picked at random, so potential entrants who are not sophisticated at drawn art should not feel like they cannot enter – all are welcome. Entries that do not include a hand drawn image will not be eligible for winning the contest. Entrants wishing to receive a free Strymon sticker in return should include a self-addressed stamped envelope with their submission. Younger entrants who have no idea what the previous sentence means should ask an older person that they trust for advice, not only on what a “self-addressed stamped envelope” actually is, but also where to obtain a stamp and an envelope, how to address the envelope properly, and where to take that envelope so that it is properly mailed to Strymon headquarters.

SUBMISSION USAGE

Submissions and drawings remain the sole property of the Entrant. By entering the contest, Entrant grants Damage Control a non-exclusive, worldwide and perpetual license to use the entries in whatever manner Damage Control wishes, for example (but not limited to): publishing the entries on Strymon’s website, social media pages and any relevant advertising platforms, with or without Entrant’s name and country of origin potentially displayed at the same time for attribution. Entrant agrees that as a winner their details – name and country of residence – may be published by Damage Control or made available to anyone requesting the identity of the winning entrants.

CONTEST PERIOD

The contest will begin at 12:00PM, PST on April 24, 2026 and ends at 8:00PM, PST, on May 29, 2026. Two winners of the grand prize package will be chosen at random among all eligible contestants, and ten additional winners of a Strymon t-shirt will be chosen at the same time. Damage Control reserves the right to change the winner selection method at its sole discretion. The selection decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winner will be subject to verification and must meet all eligibility requirements before a prize is awarded. Prize winner will be notified by the email address provided with their Submission. If a winner is unreachable for three (3) business days after being contacted by Damage Control, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected among all remaining contestants. Winner agrees to take a photo of themselves with the products won in the contest and return them to Strymon for verification, and grants Damage Control the perpetual right to use the image as they see fit, which could include publishing the photograph on Strymon’s social media accounts and platforms.

PRIZES

Two prize packages will be given away, with each package going to a different winning recipient: both grand prize winners will receive a brand-new Canoga vintage silicon fuzz pedal, as well as a prototype fuzz pedal in a 3D-printed plastic enclosure. As the prototype pedal is a development sample, the circuit of the prototype pedal may differ from the circuit inside their official Canoga pedal, and the winner is encouraged to enjoy any differences between the two.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants. The official Canoga pedal is brand new stock and comes with the standard factory warranty. The prototype pedal carries no warranty and is not guaranteed. In fact, it may even be missing screws on the bottom plate and will have graphics written in pen, with an electronic labeler or be blank – it’s a prototype, after all. No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfer of the prize is permitted. Prize will be shipped to winner at no cost to them. Winner is responsible for the payment of all applicable federal, state and local taxes, fees and duties.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Damage Control is not responsible for typographical errors in any contest-related materials or for incomplete or illegible entries, and is also not responsible for entries that do not arrive at Strymon headquarters within the contest period due to a loss or delay during shipping. Damage Control reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the contest (but that seems highly unlikely, as ya’ll be drawing these pictures by hand, Yo). By entering, participants hold harmless Damage Control from any and all liability, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize.
