We wanted to fill you in on how we gather data and what we do with it.
We use Google Analytics to gain insights into how people interact with our website. Analytics looks at visitors do on our web pages, how long they spend on the site, what type of device or browser they use and other similar types of information. If you aren’t familiar with Google Analytics, you can learn more about it here > http://www.google.com/analytics/features/.
We’ll be honest, we spend most of our time working on new products, so we don’t spend much time looking at Analytics. We use it mainly to make sure that something hasn’t gone wrong with a page or the site as a whole, (hopefully) ensuring that the website is properly providing a positive experience for those that visit, whether they view on a Mac or a Windows machine, or on a Apple or Android mobile device.
The few things we do check all comply with Google Analytics Terms of Service. http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html
But you don’t have to let Analytics track your site behavior, you can opt out of Google’s advertising tracking cookie here > http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ or opt out of all Google Analytics tracking software with this browser plugin > https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/
