What are the two different MultiSwitch Plus modes Compatible with Brig?

MultiSwitch Plus has two modes of operation with Brig: PRESET Mode and Custom Mode.  Each of these modes require configuring Brig in the following manner:

  1. Press and hold the Brig footswitch while connecting power to the pedal.  Hold for at least 2 seconds, until the LED stops blinking.
  2. Turn the TIME knob all the way counter-clockswise to set the MIDI CHANNEL to Channel 1.  The LED should be GREEN.
  3. Turn the FILTER knob to select one of the following MIDI OUT options:
    1. SEND MIDI CC and OTHER DATA: GREEN
    2. SEND OTHER DATA: AMBER
  4. Turn the MIX knob all the way clockwise to set the EXP/MIDI jack to MIDI Mode.  The LED should be BLUE.
  5. Press the Brig footswitch to exit and store the MIDI CHANNEL, MIDI OUTPUT Mode, and the EXP/MIDI jack Mode.

 

  • In PRESET Mode, all three switches on MultiSwitch Plus are used to save and recall presets.
    • Press any of the MultiSwitch Plus footswitches to recall the corresponding preset.
    • Press on an illuminated switch to bypass Brig.
    • To save presets with MultiSwitch Plus:
      • Dial in the sound that you would like to save as your preset on Brig.
      • Press and hold the Brig footswitch for at least 3 seconds until the LED blinks GREEN.
      • Press the A, B, or C MultiSwitch Plus footswitch to save the current state of the pedal to the desired location.
  • In CUSTOM Mode, the three switches on MultiSwitch Plus will have the following functionality:
    • A – Tap on footswitch A to set the TAP TEMPO rate for your Brig repeats to follow.
    • B – Press and release footswitch B to load your designated FAVORITE preset.
    • C – Press and hold footswitch C for INFINITE delay repeats while the footswitch is held.

 

To set MultiSwitch Plus to PRESET mode:

  1. Connect a TRS cable to the EXP or FAV jack of the pedal you wish to control.
  2. Enter PRESET mode by holding down the A footswitch while connecting the other end of the TRS cable to MultiSwitch Plus.  The A LED will flash RED to confirm the selection.
  3. Release the footswitch.  The LEDs on MultiSwitch Plus will flash GREEN when configuration is complete.  All 3 outputs carry the same signal in this mode.

 

 To set MultiSwitch Plus to CUSTOM mode:

  1. Connect a TRS cable to the EXP or FAV jack of the pedal you wish to control.
  2. Enter CUSTOM mode by holding down the C footswitch while connecting the other end of the TRS cable to MultiSwitch Plus.  The C LED will flash RED to confirm the selection.
  3. Release the footswitch.  The LEDs on MultiSwitch Plus will flash GREEN when configuration is complete.  All 3 outputs carry the same signal in this mode.
