What MIDI interfaces can I use to connect my pedals to Nixie 2?

While most of our newer pedals have a USB port that will allow direct connection with your computer, Mobius, Timeline, and BigSky do not, and will need to connect via a MIDI interface. Because of the extremely high rate of data transfer that is required to make and maintain a connection, a lot of MIDI interfaces will not work here, and every “plug-and-play” MIDI interface that we have tested has failed. The interfaces that we have tested extensively and can confirm will work are:

• Roland UM-ONE MKII
• iConnectivity MIO XC
• Strymon Conduit

There are other MIDI interfaces, such as the Focusrite Scarlett line, that have worked for users in the past, but you may run into connectivity issues depending on your setup.
