Every year as the holiday season approaches there is anticipation of quality family time and warm chats by the fire while the cold wind blows outside. But one of the highlights I like about the holidays is the music. Last year I gathered some holiday songs that you can still click here to listen to. Below is a new list that I have gathered to add to those of last year.
Happy Holidays to all!
Shane Henry and Maggie McClure have done a festive original with two different videos. Below you can watch their lyric video and if you click here you can watch their take on “Home Alone.”
Josh Saddler didn’t tag this as a holiday song, but it makes for the perfect song to listen to early in the morning, with a warm cup of coffee, looking out the window at winter, while you wait for the family to wake up.
This is just all Yes! Leading the strings on violin is Lizzie Ball, who has been known to use her Strymon pedal with her violin.
Speeding it up a bit, is QuistJam, who brings his cover of Tchaikovsky “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.” Don’t miss out on checking out QuistJam, because he puts up the best backing tracks to inspire and give a guitarist hours of fun to jam to.
Now for some shorter 15 second Instagram clips.
We must include a “Silent Night” this one is with a welcomed grittiness and 30 more seconds from Michael James Adams.

Shelby Pollard shared this info with us on his lovely cover of “Christmas Time is Here.” Shelby said “I used the El Cap for the first time as an auxiliary bus, and it turned out so nice. It’s pretty subtle, but adds a nice layer underneath.”
And if that’s not enough, we will end this post with a beautiful 15 second cover from Bryan Lopez aka ambientnotes with his tradition of playing “Christmas Time is Here.” And make sure for more to click on #ambientchristmas.
