Hey Strymon, In what format are the presets saved? And could you maybe post or send a preset file?
I’d like to see what we can do in terms of PC-editing. If the format is open/accessible like XML or something, we can even work with web-app technology, allowing easy porting to mobile devices.
Just wondering if “drag and drop” will ever be supported as a way of arranging presets in the Librarian. The “swap / replace” feature makes things a bit difficult at times.
@Dale – At the moment, drag and drop is not supported, but I will forward your feedback to our engineers for their consideration. Thanks!
I just want mine to work properly live without losing my settings..
@Brian – Sorry you are having trouble. Please continue support through our email conversation at [email protected]
Hi. First off I love the Strymon products. I have a question in regards to being able to save my presets in both the timeline and big sky to the preset librarian. I can upload them and save them but when i detach the midi cables i can no longer access the songs.. its almost like it isn’t saving them. Also my computer doesn’t seem to recognize the file type that it is saving to either? Any Suggestions
@Ben Poteat – Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with using Nixie and your pedals. Can you please send us an email to [email protected] with the exact steps (all button presses/clicks/etc.) you are taking from the moment you start the program to when you realize the presets are not saving? The file type is a .syx file that your computer would not recognize unless your computer has a program installed that associates these sysex files with the program.
My first BigSky had a tone called “MELT” that my new one does not have, is there anywhere i can get access to the tone library that contains that patch?
Hey there! Unfortunately, we don’t have any older preset libraries for older firmware, and I don’t see that as listed on the current preset list. Sorry about that, please email us at [email protected] if you have any more questions!
Hi! Just have question regarding the HALL & ROOM reverb on big sky because I keep turning the pre delay off but after saving it it still has the same pre delay that I don’t want on those modes? is there any way to remove the pre delay on those modes? please and thank you.
Hey there Gerard, please email us at [email protected] and we can help you out with this. Thanks!
