The StryCast: Episode 2

StryCast Cover Art

Earlier this summer we released new and improved versions of some of our most beloved pedals: blueSkyDecoDIGEl CapistanFlint, and Lex! We are beyond grateful to see these out in the wild now, and we hope you are all enjoying your new pedals!

Tune in to the latest episode of the StryCast and join us as Strymon co-founder and DSP guru Pete Celi walks us through his thoughts on each of the new V2 pedals. We discuss the thought process behind the updates, the importance of keeping the same great sounds from the previous generations while also improving functionality and flexibility, and what it was like for Pete to personally rediscover these pedals as he was working on the new versions.

Check it out and let us know what you think!

  1. Hello just wondering if there will be a version 2 of the Big Sky and the timeline. I would rather buy a brand new version 2 than a used versionlose the original one just saying.

    1. Hey Peter! We appreciate your comment, but unfortunately we do not publicly discuss future product plans. Sorry about that!

  2. Hello,
Great to see more Strymon pedals have MIDI now. I think I’ll try the new Lex on my board.
Unfortunately I’ll be running out of MIDI channels.
At this moment I have 2 Conduits which I connect each to a port of a TP-Link 7-port hub which input is connected to a computer.
Is this the way to have 2×16 MIDI channels?
    Best, Sjoerd
