Hear Everything.

PCH is an advanced stereo active direct interface with a hidden superpower – an onboard console-quality headphone amplifier. Now you can rest easy knowing that the sound of your pedalboard won’t change even a little when passing through PCH, and the headphone amp means you won’t have to ask anyone how you sound.

You’ll know.

PCH has a powerful headphone amplifier onboard, making it easy to monitor or practice listening to the sound of your entire rig or pedalboard in full stereo, no matter the pedal order or the components.

Connecting the output of your pedalboard to a DI is a very different thing than simply plugging your bass or guitar straight into one. Pedalboards can generate very loud output signals, enough to swamp the input of ordinary direct boxes. PCH is different, partially because it runs on 9VDC, and it has enough headroom to handle powerful incoming audio while remaining pristine, ensuring you always sound your best.

No matter what instrument or genre of music you play, if you need to connect unbalanced outputs to a PA, recording interface or flat response speaker system, PCH is the ultimate choice for an absolutely transparent stereo direct interface — and it’s the only one that you can listen to locally via the headphone amp.

Transparent By Design

PCH was designed from the ground up to be sonically transparent, virtually unclippable and bulletproof — it’s the ultimate solution for your pedalboard, keyboard rig or synth setup.

Controls & Routing

Use the interactive dots (+) to learn more about PCH’s knobs, switches, and inputs/outputs.

GROUND
Press to the “in” position to lift the ground if experiencing hum on the XLR Outs.

LEVEL
Press to the “in” position for mic level XLR output. Set to the “out” position for line level XLR output.

XLR LEFT / RIGHT OUTS
Balanced, low impedance outputs. Connect to a mixing console or other low impedance gear for low noise/distortion routing of your source input(s).

When connecting to the Left 1/4" In only, the mono input is routed to both XLR Outs.

When connecting a stereo source to both Left and Right 1/4" Ins, the stereo signal is routed to the Left and Right XLR Outs.

9VDC
PCH is an active device and requires a power connection. Use a power supply with the rating: 9VDC, center negative, 500mA minimum (sold separately).

SUM (THRU)
When connecting a stereo source to both Left and Right Ins, keep the SUM switch disengaged for stereo THRU output. Or, engage SUM to merge the stereo input to a mono signal fed to both THRU Outs.

When connecting to the Left In only, its mono signal is routed to both THRU Outs, unaffected by the SUM switch.

The XLR Outs are unaffected by the SUM switch.

THRU
1/4" unbalanced, Left and Right, TS outputs. Pass your buffered input sources to amplifiers, effects, or other devices. Use the SUM (THRU) switch for mono or stereo THRU output.

PHONES LEVEL
Use to adjust the headphone volume.

INS
1/4" unbalanced, Left and Right, TS, high-impedance inputs. Connect two mono or one stereo source: guitar, bass, keyboard, amp+cab simulation pedal, or modeler.

Connect to the Left In only for a single mono input, or connect to both the Left and Right Ins for stereo.

PHONES
Connect headphones for precision stereo monitoring of your input sources.
