What happened to the Dual, Pattern, Trem, Duck, and Swell delay engines?
With the addition of the Drum, Multitap, Oil Can, Spectral, and Reverb delays found in TimeLine MX, we decided to remove the older delay algorithms, and instead implement their functionality in other ways. Duck and Swell, for example, are now Param settings that can be used on ANY delay algorithm.
Now that any two delays can be used in dual delay configuration, the Dual delay algorithm is obsolete.
The Multitap delay engine is a far more comprehensive version of the Pattern delay, and allows for near infinite delay patterns.
Trem has been added to the Filter delay engine, and allows for far greater usage of modulation and filtering in the delay lines.
