Strymon at NAMM 2017!

namm2015-large

It’s that time again! People from California and from all over the world are about to make their way to Anaheim, California for one of the world’s largest musical instrument and equipment trade shows: the NAMM Show! And we will be there! As always, we are excited for the opportunity to connect with our customers, fans, and dealers, and to meet all the talented musicians, musical instrument makers, and aspiring artists we are sure to run into during our time in the convention center.

Details

The NAMM Show will be happening Thursday through Sunday, January 19-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The Strymon booth will be located at 1735 Hall E (you can find us on the map here ).

Our booth will be equipped with nine demo stations featuring a varied spread of Strymon effects. Guitars will be available at every demo station, and we’ll have a synth and a bass available for use as well.

In addition to jamming at the demo stations, we’d love for you to come introduce yourselves and just hang out! We will all be wearing Strymon shirts and easy to spot, so we’d love to spend some time chatting with you about gear, music, art, or anything else that comes up!

Hope to see you there!

Below are some highlights from NAMM 2016:

It’s always fun when someone brings their own instrument to the show to try out. In 2016 we had violinists, harpists, a trumpeter, a Chapman Stick player, and more. See below.

  1. Is Riverside based on the prototype “amp in a box” that Ethan has mentioned before (in a youtube video)? It doesn’t talk about speaker cab emulation or going direct to PA on the product page. Thanks.

    1. @Jon Stratford – The Riverside is not based on any previous design or prototype. It does not offer cab emulation and is not recommended to plug in direct to PA unless you like the sound of a drive pedal direct to a mixer.
