In most cases yes. Please visit www.strymon.net/update for information on how to check your firmware version, and how to update your firmware. All TimeLine, Mobius, and BigSky pedals built as of February 17, 2015 ship with firmware that is compatible with MultiSwitch. If your TimeLine, Mobius, or BigSky was built before this date then it will require a firmware update.
Connections
Use the supplied TRS 1/4″ cable to connect MultiSwitch to TimeLine, BigSky, or Mobius’ EXP input.
Expression Mode Selection
Once MultiSwitch is connected and your pedal is powered up, press and hold the VALUE encoder for a few seconds to enter the GLOBLS menu, turn the VALUE encoder to select EXP MD, and press the VALUE encoder once more to enter that parameter. Now, turn the VALUE encoder to select BANK. Press the TYPE encoder to exit the GLOBLS menu.
Bank Mode
With the Expression Mode (EXP MD) set to BANK, MultiSwitch allows you to Bank Up or Down and to cycle through the presets in the current bank.
Connections
Use the supplied TRS 1/4″ cable to connect MultiSwitch to TimeLine, BigSky, or Mobius’ EXP input.
Expression Mode Selection
Once MultiSwitch is connected and your pedal is powered up, press and hold the VALUE encoder for a few seconds to enter the GLOBLS menu, turn the VALUE encoder to select EXP MD, and press the VALUE encoder once more to enter that parameter. Now, turn the VALUE encoder to select PRESET. Press the TYPE encoder to exit the GLOBLS menu.
PRESET Mode
With the Expression Mode (EXP MD) set to PRESET, MultiSwitch allows you to scroll up or down the presets and to Bypass/Engage the currently selected preset.

With the Expression Mode (EXP MD) set to TAP, MultiSwitch provides Tap Tempo control and the ability to scroll up or down the presets.

3-Button Looper
With TimeLine’s Expression mode set to LOOPER, MultiSwitch provides access to the TimeLine Looper’s Record/Overdub, Play, and Stop controls while still having the ability to Bank Up, Bank Down, and Engage/Bypass presets with the TimeLine’s own onboard footswitches.
6-Button Looper
With TimeLine’s switches set to LOOPER control (by pressing and holding the TAP switch for a few seconds), MultiSwitch provides access to REVERSE, HALF SPEED, and UNDO/REDO OVERDUBS controls.
MultiSwitch Plus offers all of the functionality of MultiSwitch for BigSky, TimeLine, and Mobius, but also provides additional compatibility options, three outputs for connecting multiple Strymon pedals, and LEDs.
MultiSwitch is 6.625” wide x 1.875” deep x 2” tall.
Strymon Non-Transferrable Limited Warranty
Strymon warranties its products and their varying components to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the following periods of time from the original date of purchase when purchased from an Authorized Strymon Dealer:
If the product fails within the warranty period, Strymon will repair or, at our discretion, replace the product at no cost to the original purchaser.
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using this product as recommended by Strymon. This warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does the coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage, lightning, or natural disasters. Damage caused by any of the above circumstances may result in a non-warranty repair fee.
Products that were purchased from an unauthorized dealer are not covered under warranty. The warranty is non-transferrable and does not cover used or second-hand products.
Products purchased outside of your country (sales channel) have a warranty inside the country it was purchased ONLY and is not valid outside of the country it was purchased. Please contact your dealer for information on warranty and service outside of the USA and Canada.
In the case of malfunction, the purchaser’s sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the preceding paragraphs. Strymon will not be held liable to any party for damages that result from the failure of this product. Damages excluded include, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings, damage to other equipment, and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will Strymon be liable for more than the amount of the purchase price, not to exceed the current retail price of the product. Strymon disclaims any other warranties, express or implied. By using the product, the user accepts all terms herein.
