This Week’s Customer Favorite: Flint – “Late October” from Z. G. Monte

Flint-Favorite-setting
This week’s favorite comes from Zac Monte, who has provided a video and instrumental track that we really enjoyed, along with his Flint settings for the track.

Zac shared with us:

I play in a band called Minor and over the entire summer we played at Hume Lake Christian Camps.  Over the summer I acquired a Flint and fell in love with it.  Since I write and record music, we got back home and I composed a song with the intention to capitalize on the Flint.  Every guitar track and pad sound was made with the Flint.  The 80’s setting seems to be my go-to because it is so incredibly smooth and trails perfectly behind anything.  I would recommend this pedal to anyone with reverb and tremolo needs.  The original song was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Pravitas Studios.IMG_4562

  1. Zac, that’s the perfect sound for your video. Impressive! Not quite what my band did, but we had a lot of fun doing it…. over 50 years ago… yeah, we had guitars and amps back then. I’m still at it, along with the same friend from 10th grade playing bass. We have way better gear now! And, just as much fun.
Stay with it. I’m sure you will.

    Steve
